In America, there is a technology war that has been started. Many top rank multinational companies are playing an important role in this smart tech war. Recently, an American multinational company, Wells Fargo instruct strictly to its employees to remove TikTok, a Chinese app. A few days before, Trump is also used to say that we are considering to ban on TilTok due to privacy concerns.
A Wells Fargo spokesperson said in an email to The Verge. “Due to concerns about TikTok’s privacy and security controls and practices, and because corporate-owned devices should be used for company business only, we have directed those employees to remove the app from their devices.”
In the past few days, Amazon is also asked its employees, to remove TikTok, with their registered office email address. But later on, amazon clarifies that they have no change in policy regarding TikTok, right now.
Wells Forge also banned this video making app on the behalf of huge scandal history of TikTok since 2019. Also, it has been seriously claimed that iOS TikTok users have serious privacy concerns. As Mike Pompeo has claimed that TikTok has full access to the IOS clipboard.
According to my point of view, the TikTok ban is the start of a technology war, as we discuss before. We agree that there may be privacy concerns to top American multinational companies about this video making app, but the reasons which they mentioned are applicable to other apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, skype, etc which are also used by the employees of these companies. As the structural model of the TikTok app is the same, as these apps.
