The Director General Civil Aviation Authority (DGCAA) has formed a request board to examine the cracks showing up in the Cargo Unit Building of the recently developed Islamabad International Airport (IIA). 

A CAA official clarified that the specialist has framed the request panel and guided it to distinguish the general population in charge of the breaks in the Cargo Unit Building route before a news thing relating to the issue showed up on the media. 

As of late, a news report developed on the nearby media that the freight unit building has begun collapsing and the experts have chosen to move the staff and specialists to some other place.

Truth be told, the report expressed that the issue was conveyed to the notice of the air terminal chief and the project director of the IIA, advising them that the building had been rendered hazardous for those working there. 

It is relevant to make reference to here that the building has begun decaying inside seven months of the air terminal's development that cost more than Rs. 105 billion. The experts, subsequent to informing the CAA, put the dividers to fill the breaks, yet alerts went off when the building began splitting again following a couple of days. 

As indicated by the sources from the traditions experts, with each passing day, new splits were showing up while the holes in existing breaks have been broadening also. 

Authorities have communicated worry that if prudent steps are not taken in time, a setback can happen.

The said building is also accommodating a post office and a National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) branch where over 200 to 300 individuals either work or visit during the business days.
