Royole beat Samsung and Huawei to the punch by releasing the first-ever commercially available smartphone-tablet hybrid. Unlike Samsung and other worldwide organizations presently on the foldable screen hype, Royole's "FlexPai" display professes to be both a cell phone and tablet in one.

Royole, a pro in flexible screens, revealed the "FlexPai" phone at an occasion in Beijing. It says it will begin dispatching the gadget, a mix between a smartphone and a tablet, in December.

“The phone’s inherent design will forever change the consumer electronics industry, as well as the way people interact with and perceive their world.”

The screen is one finished, full flexible presentation that can be collapsed at various edges relying upon the situation - regardless of whether it's taking photographs, watching videos or gaming.

The FlexPai transforms into a 7.8-inch tablet that is about as large as an iPad scaled down. The screen has a 1920 x 1440 goals and 4:3 aspect ratio.

Whenever folded, the device transforms into a double screen cell phone that has three screens. The essential screen has a goals of 810 x 1440 with 16:9 aspect ratio, the optional showcase is at 720 x 1440 and 18:9 aspect ratio, while the edge show highlights 390 x 1440 goals and a 21:6 aspect ratio.

The FlexPai also features a dual-lens camera setup, including a 20-megapixel telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens. A previous report said the phone also packs a next-gen Snapdragon 8150 processor, although that detail isn’t mentioned on the website. That would make this one of the first phones in the world to launch with Qualcomm’s new flagship processor.
