NASA Announced The Test Flight Dates For NASA’s Commercial Crew Program

NASA has released the schedule for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program Target Test Flight Dates for SpaceX and Boeing. First flight tests are uncrewed and Boeing flight is known as Orbital Flight Test, and SpaceX one is Demo-1.

First uncrewed test flight of Boeing will take place in March 2019 and SpaceX one will January 7, 2019. Both companies will have to perform abort tests to exhibit their crew escape ability amid a real on-cushion, or ascent crisis. 

The final test flights will be a crew one and will take place on June 2019 for SpaceX and August 2019 for the Boeing. Foreseen Dates for Operational Missions - First operational mission: August 2019 - Second operational mission: December 2019.

Boeing Pad Abort Test: Between OFT and CFT
Boeing Crew Flight Test (crewed): August 2019
SpaceX Demo-1 (uncrewed): January 7, 2019
SpaceX In-Flight Abort Test: Between Demo-1 and Demo-2
SpaceX Demo-2 (crewed): June 2019"
