Fireball Close Bologna Airport After Road Crash Explosion
ROME (Reuters) – Two trucks crashed on a motorway close Bologna airport in northern Italy on Monday, sending a gigantic ball of fire and billows of black smoke taking off into the sky.
No less than two individuals were killed and more than 60 were injured, as per local media.
Police said they had closed off the road where the crash occurred and also the encompassing territory in Borgo Panigale, on the edges of Bologna.
Italian media said a lorry conveying cars crashed on a bridge with another tanker lorry containing inflammable materials.
Some portion of the bridge collapsed and the subsequent blast and fire spread to a carpark beneath the bridge, where a few different vehicles burst into flames and exploded.

Firefighters and ambulances went to the scene.
A video shot from a parked auto at the moment of the blast seemed to demonstrate somebody being engulfed by flares when the tanker exploded.
In a different occurrence on Monday, 12 migrant workers died in the southern Italian locale of Puglia when the van they were going in crashed into a lorry.
