Actor Jackson Odell Died Of An Accidental Drug Overdose

As per E! News, The Blast and Entertainment Tonight, the 20-year-old — best known for playing Ari Caldwell on ABC's The Goldbergs from 2013 to 2015 — kicked the bucket of an incidental medication overdose. The coroner purportedly decided that Odell's reason for death was "intense heroin and cocaine harmfulness" and the way of death was considered "unplanned." 

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office did not quickly react to PEOPLE's ask for input.

Odell was discovered dead in a Los Angeles calm living home on June 8. 

"There was no gear or lawful medications found on the scene," Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told PEOPLE at the time. "He was discovered inert." 

After his demise, Odell's family discharged an announcement on Twitter. 

"The Odell family has lost our cherished child and sibling, Jackson Odell, on Friday," the announcement read. "He will dependably be a sparkling light and a splendid, adoring and skilled soul. He had a lot more to share. Our family will dependably convey that reality forward." 

"Our desire is that whatever remains of the world who knew and cherished him does too. We are presently going to attempt to understand our inconceivable misfortune secretly. We won't put forth any longer expressions." 

E! News revealed that Odell was let go in a private memorial service on June 13. 

Odell's profession included little parts on Private Practice, Modern Family, iCarly and Arrested Development. He was likewise an artist musician who contributed a few unique melodies to the soundtrack for the 2018 motion picture Forever My Girl.
