A Los Angeles-territory community is outraged after a photo surfaced of a racial slur composed by a Starbucks barista.Where a customer’s name ought to be written on the cup, there's a racial slur. It occurred at an area in La Canada when a Hispanic man came in to order two drinks

The man, who might just be recognized as Peter, revealed to CBS Los Angeles he got a drink with "BEANER" on it at the Starbucks in La Cañada, California..The barista printed "Beaner" on the cup rather than the man's name.

“En español es ‘frijoleros,’ ‘beaner,’ you know, in English," said the victim’s friend Miguel Acosta. "He went to Starbucks, and they asked his name, and his name is ‘Peter,’ and they composed this 'beaner,' And he’s saying that is not reasonable."

Acosta included that he doesn't understand why Starbucks focused on his friend and believed his friend did not deserve to be dealt that way.

Apparently the Starbucks worker comprehended the man say "Venti White Mocha" and "Venti Ice Caramel Macchiato," yet not his name Pedro.

"And that's extremely disappointing to hear,” another customer said. “It makes me wonder what the intentions were of the person who wrote that."

This comes to fruition a month after two black men were arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks while basically sitting tight for a business meeting.

The store manager declined to give a statement, however the coffee company released an announcement saying it has "apologized to the customer."

This time around, Starbucks management reacted saying, "This is not the welcoming experience we aim to provide, and we have reached out to this customer to apologize and make this right."

The incident occurred a little more than two weeks previously the coffee chain is scheduled to close 8,000 of its company-owned stores in the U.S. to influence its employees to undergo racial bias training.
