Hospital In Santa Ana Locked Down After Report of Gunman

Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana is on lock down Tuesday morning as authorities explore a call they got in regards to a man, conceivably furnished with a firearm in the healing center, police said.

Santa Ana police got a call from the Orange County Global Medical Center at 8:15 a.m., expressing that a call had been gotten from an interior system telephone that there was an armed man in the  doctor's facility.As indicated by Santa Ana Police Department Cpl. Bertagna.

Officers reacted to the building, situated in the 1000 square of North Tustin Avenue.It was not precisely clear where the call was put.In any case, it came in around 8:15 a.m., the Los Angeles Times announced.

"Obviously we have a large police presence," said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna, a police spokesman. "We treat these things as they're actually occurring, until proven otherwise."
Police have looked through the basement and first floor and are dealing with looking through the second and third floors, Bertagna said.
